I'll just blog this with no comments <.giggle.> The Art of Kissing courtesy of Zannah

Katie posted this article: webreview.com - Interface Questions Answered Totally cool stuff! I want to come back to this again :-)

Geez, where has my mind been?! It's been 3 days and I haven't blogged at ALL about Buffy or Angel! <.g> Huh. Maybe that's because I can't think of anything to say. LOL Let's see...well, I loved the both. Drac was cool, but what was WITH his make-up?? His face, in some scenes, looked like he was dunked in powder, but his neck was tan. That drove me nuts! And he had fangs, but no grrrr face? Blah! <.g> Spike rocks hugely - that scene with Riley was so totally charged. Couldn't believe how tall Riley really was. And his crypt looks so cozy now. LOL What else? I thanked those Draco-babes for pulling Giles' shirt off, even though I LOVED that shirt. He looked incredible! Joyce is still clueless about so much, Willow's a sweetie, Anya's going to be SO mad at Xander for the closet deal, and there were a great number of hilarious one-liners that I adored. Still not sure what I'm thinking about Dawn yet. I'll get back to ya next week. Now, Angel. I wasn't overly keen on this show last season, but now I love it. I love Angel. I'm in love with Angel. I want Wesley. I really want Wesley. LOL I think Angel/Wes would be fun. Cordy is so cool, and it's about time she's being written as a real person. We all knew she had it in her. Gunn is going to be a great addition to the cast. Angel singing was SO perfect. "Well, I know the words....and I think it's kinda pretty." I loved Wes and Cordy's looks. <.giggle> I only wish I hadn't stopped the tape after the scenes from next week (which I am SO excited about), because I missed the credits showing David singing. If you have a .ram or anything else of it, PLEASE send it to me!! I'll be your best friend. All in all, great starts to both seasons. I think this Angel ep is my favorite of them all together. Although I want to know why I suddenly am so attracted to David Boreanaz. LOL Alexis Denisof, yeah, sure, it's been over a year. But I never saw David B's appeal before. Hmmmmm....<.g>

Uh oh, this doesn't necessarily look good . . . . KGW.COM - WEATHER - 5DAY

I just saw that City of Angels (1998) is going to be on CBS this weekend. I think I need to watch that again, even though I know I'll cry. This movie reminds of of my senior year in college because we (me and my friends) listened to the CD incessently! Uninvited by Alanis was definately the best, but Angel by Sarah is also on there, and that's a beautiful song :-)

You'd sure think that with GreyDay this close (Oct 1), the sponsers, DigitalDivas, would have more on their webpage about it and who was going to be involved and etc. etc. I kinda think its a good idea, and if I had more time, I might do this........

I love dairy queen! We had yummy icecream <.lickinglips> I love DQ! :->

Blah, I don't feel motivated to work this afternoon. I'd so much rather be at home watching As the world turns or even {gasp} writing thank you notes!!!! Work, work, work, Kristine!!!!

poor Melanie of Melanie & Michael's Wedding - she found a site this morning that was TOTALLY copying her site. They've taken it down since then, but I would be really upset if I found a site that was using my exact same graphics. I mean, they took all her title headings and used the exact same format, etc., etc, and this is one of the better wedding sites out there. Stupid retard people!!

.. amnesia & deja vu : forget it all over again .. - oh fun, another remodeling project! I love watching these before pictures, and then wait for the fun of seeing the finished projects. It makes me want a house so I can do all this hard work <.g> Well, the decoration of the hard work is more up my alley then that actual ripping out and putting in work. I'm not super handy when it comes to that, but if I have instructions, I might be able to figure it out :-)

Oh, very colorful, Gina!! The colors look good together, and its a nice background :-)

I was watching this video the other night too, Christie, and he did look super-sexy in it. The whole idea of a "big fishbowl orgy" is pretty funny sounding, but people'll have to watch the video so they can agree that this is really what it looks like LOL! I've been meaning to write you - I haven't gotten a chance to try out those beading instructions you sent yet, but I can't wait to!! Thanks!! Nice clean redesign, btw :-)

Oh, Carol linked to MirskyInk, with a splash of blogalicious DaraInk, and she made a carmel apple pie. Doesn't that sound absolutely delicious? I want one!! I see that she just recently got married - I'm getting quite the collection of blogging friends who are recently married or soon to be, and that's much fun! :-)

I found (via a mailing list I'm on) a really cool thing this morning :-) I think it could be used in congunction with blogger really nicely to point out things on pages. Its call e-quill, and its a webpage marking up program. It sits on the bottom of your IE screen (must have IE 5 or above) but can be minimized to a very small arrow icon. You can check out an example of something I marked up to see the options on the e-quill's link to BLOGGER. Even after I mark things up, you can follow the links and move stuff around. The main downside that I see is that when you are referring to a site, it wouldn't directly point to their site, and people would have a harder time searching for their refering sites, but I think it could be cool :) It also shows a bar on the top when you click the link, but it goes away when you go to the next site instead of hanging on the top of your browser. Overall, I think it looks cool!

Tee hee, it was only $15, and I *had* to get it! Flaming Pear:Products:SuperBladePro It really does have some nice new features that regular BladePro didn't have :-) I'm excited :-) I love new graphic toys!!!!! I'm ordering the upgrade of PSP7, too, because I *loved* the beta copy of it :-)

This is scary - Explosion in NE Portland and they showed the map of how close it was to the elementry school, that's even scarier. Why do we have to live in a world that's so scary?

It kinda sucks that I know the storyline of Dragonball Z now <.g> I tape it for E after my soaps between 5 and 5:30, and when I'm watching TV when it comes on, I watch the intro and usually have to watch it later on w/E I laugh at Vegeta, cuz he's a moron ... But his son has pink hair, and that makes me laugh even more LOLOL! Why do I have to know the storyline of a silly fighting cartoon?!!!

I love the fall change at bite this!! Its the same design, but with a fall accent, and I love it! :-)

Please send all of your prayers and sunshiney thoughts up for Kaycee of . : living colours : .. Her battle is so hard right now, and surgery looks like it was a hard choice, so wow, I am trying my hardest not to cry for such a couragous girl.

ROTFL This is funny :-) Graphic Designer's Judgment Clouded By Desire To Use New Photoshop Plug-In

I am super hopeful that today will be a less challenging one for me. As long as I don't go back and read the emails I got last night, my morning can't be as bad, right?!!!

Ah ha! The answer to my question at Power Bloggers
In case you're wondering what the little [?] links do, they can isolate how many updates and click-throughs have happened for a particular weblog. The idea is that you can bookmark these links and check your stats, or the stats of weblogs you like, without them being on the Power Bloggers list.
That's a neato idea! Andre apparently gets lots of those :->

via silver blog: fall 2000, I found another color resource at Color Schemer Very cool :-)

Tuesday, September 26, 2000

Hey Cheryl, I'll be praying for you that your interview goes well :-) What is the position you are interviewing for? The college site looks pretty, and I'm glad you got to see a periwinklish sky - I love it when that happens!!

Oh, wow, I know this isn't funny, but by the end of this story, I was giggling because I, too, thought that "this kinda crap only happened on TV". I'm so glad that you got it cleaned up, Kristin :->

This post about low-grade depression at :: mindbloggle gave me some thoughts. Thanks for posting it, even though I don't know what I'll do with this info for the time being.

I've decided that i'm not a very good network administrator. Mainly because I assume that everything that is wrong with the computers is somehow my fault.... its going slow : "I'm sorry!".... its closing down : "Oh, it must have been what I had up" ..... the printer won't print : "I must have done something, oops." I really need to reinstall the program at work. That might help the problem. But I'm so worn out by the end of the day that looking at the daunting task of reinstalling and then having the possibliity of it not working right makes me just want to go home! Sigh. If I didn't have employees who were so un-understanding, it would be better, too. Blah!

I'm so curious if The Buffy Log! will be coming back. They haven't posted since the season finale, but now that the season begins again, I was hoping to see some activity. I know that I'llwe'll be blogging Buffy/Angel stuff more often now <.g> We did join the Buffy 'burb - a group of other journalers who watch Buffy (and maybe even Angel :-) ) Neato Spedito!

Look how cute the Pooh and Piglet Origami is :) Eric sent me this, and I had to blog it :-) I looked for an Eeyore (my fav), but nope, not there yet!

I found this while on a break from the report I'm working on - it was in my recently updated blog list, and its pretty, and looks like a fun one to read :-) Structured Ramblings Hi Kendra! :-)

Zannah blogged about this - The Crayola Store.com: Viewing Custom Crayola 64 Box of Crayons You can have a whole box of one color! That's neato! :-)

oh, via the webmistress::weblog (which I read on a semi-regularly basis, whenever I see other friends of mine linking to it! I should link to it myself, silly-kristine <.G>), I found webtype.org. This could be a really fun place to read :-) I'll have to come back to it later on :-)

Oh, mostly sunny 81 today :-) The Weather Channel - Camas, WA (98607) That's cool, 'specially since they are predicting rain possibly on Thurs and Fri. I hate walking home in the rain! So I'll enjoy today, and maybe find some clothes that match the weather.... not sure what that'll be yet, I hate picking from the pile I really need to put my clothes *away* instead of in folded/not-so-folded piles on the floor :->

[this is a Kristine-is-too-lazy-to-email-herself-these-links-to-look-at-later-so-she's-blogging-them!!!] I'm trying to find a free service to connect to at work so I can cut out AOL completely. I've tried Netzero and Altavista so far, and Netzero didn't connect well for me, and AV is slower than AOL, so here's my list of 3 others to download. My Free Net Juno Freeinternet Got a recommendation? Drop me a line! :)

I clicked on this blog from the Blogger fresh blogs - Fresh Hell: The Weblog and Kim blogs a lot of things that are interesting to me :-) In addition, in her about page, she links to VistiBone Webmaster's Color Palette. This is kinda cool because you can click on colors on the 216 color palette and click on others and see how they go together :-) Neato! I'm not very good about staying with the 216 colors by any means, but this is fun anyhow <.smirk!>

barbie.nu! redesigned :-) Its really nice and clean and nice looking. I like watching for redesigns because even though I don't have time to do them at this moment, so many of my blog-friends do, and I love them! :)

Monday, September 25, 2000

I wonder what the little [?] on Power Bloggers is for? I swear, I didn't see it *last* time I visited this page, and those events aren't usually too far apart :-) I click and it goes to a page with only that blog info on it :-) Maybe it'll show every time that blog has been on the list. Yeah, that'd be cool :)

I think Eric would like Cheryl's version of Laura's soup. They both sound good!! I love potato soup a bunch - nummy, yummy!

after watching tons of house remodeling on the blogs I visit, I was getting creative, and thought I'd find out what brand the sponge stamps I want are. I saw these a long time ago - they are ivy sponges that you use a paint brush to paint on and then apply onto your wall. They have leaves, and you buy the coordinating paint, and draw vines around them. They looks like so much work, but they are so beautiful. That's what I want in my kitchen when I own somewhere I can do that at. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anything that matches what I'm remembering seeing, on any of the craft sites or internet searches. Why did I just go through looking for this for so long even though I can't buy them now? Because I'm obsessed with trying to find things. Blah! Anyhow, does anyone know what I'm talking about? I just would love a brand so I can search for the company :-) They make other things than just Ivy, too :-) They are all beautiful :-)

Monica Lewinsky Gets British TV Deal
Since the scandal, Lewinsky has written a book and has started her own line of handbags
Wow, that's what I've always wanted - a Monica handbag? Give me a break!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you know that Hersheys makes Jolly Ranchers? (Oh, sorry, for those of you formerly in Senora Dull's Spanish class, they are Holy Rancheros {as in happy farmers!!}) I have a whole little bag here that I got from Eric's work when we were there this weekend :-) Want one? :-)

This article gave me some more definate dates- everybody had just been saying "after the olympics" for when the Season premeires would start!! My AltaVista : Fall TV Season Pushed Back I can't wait to see some of the new shows :-) And have my old favs back :-)

Gina was looking for the system fonts for windows, and I had this shortcut, so I'm sharing it with everyone. These are the basic fonts that most windows machines have so when a designer makes a page, they could use any of these and many people will have them!!! Free downloads - TrueType core fonts for the Web

happy saturday :-) I've been up fixing the wedblog ring for a few hours, and I'm gonna go to family weekend at CAA for the girls today. Hopefully, we'll get to celebrate Megan's birthday today, too (since it was the 9th, and I hadn't seen her since ) Have a great day :-)

Idea-l-og is really cool. She's got some totally neato ideas :-) I want to do some of them... in my spare time

Oh look - Zippylog:: Now with more fruit flavor! has a new look! It's very beautiful - I love the white and ivy and grapes. When I have my own house, I'm gonna stencil Ivy on the walls. I already picked out the stencil set I want - they are soft stencils that you paint on with intentations for where the stem should be and texture and stuff. You get the colors and stuff from the same company, and it looks like a lot of work, but so beauitful. I'm so tempted to buy them now and assume I'll use them, but what if they don't sell the paint later, either???

Carol, I'm just so excited to see your new domain - the picture you put up there is really cool :-) If you need any help, let me know :-) But tell me - why pure sugar? I just am always curious about why people pick names, and I don't think I've heard the story around yours :-) Mines fairly self explainitory - when Rina and I first met, we knew that our conversations always turned to old fashion romantic thoughts about tv show characters, movies, etc.. And they still do - sometimes evil new-fangled romantic thoughts slip in there too, but anyhow that's where Hopeless Romantics came from :-)

I was going to share this olympics story with you earilier this week, because it was heartwarming, but I got sidetracked and never did - so Katie wrote it so nicely that I thought I'd just link to her story :-) :: geekish.com / weblog ::

It was so windy last night. The window was open just a teeny bit, and it was cold. Eric always throws the blankets on my side because he's hot, but this morning I woke up half cold from the missing blankets he'd stolen LOL! And here's my weather for the day: The Weather Channel - Camas, WA (98607) wow, 70 and windy. I think this calls for jeans, and definately my Gap red zipup sweatshirt over whatever I wear so I don't freeze on the way home :-)

if I had a camera here, I'd take a picture of myself. I love how my hair turned out today, and there's this one piece that wants to settle itself right next to my eye, but not too close. I'd take a picture of myself and use it on my webpage. Or a picture of my eyes. I love pictures of eyes, but I've never had anyone take any of mine. My eyes are a unique shade of green that changes frequently :-> So I could make some totally neato graphics just using that. I'm not usually this vain as to want to capture myself and show myself to the world, but today, I feel like sharing :-)

Qsent, Inc. Launches iQradio; Receiving Five-Star Rating at Palm.net; AT&T Wireless to Feature iQradio on AT&T Digital PocketNet Service Yea for Qsent news :-) You'll be seeing a lot more about them in the months to come, I'm very excited for them :)

Good news about Megan (see below) - she didn't break her ankle :-) She's believing in the power of prayer in this whole emergency because even though it seemed clear to everyone that it was broken, it was only a sprain and she'll probably be back playing by the end of next week :-) I love you, sweety!

Amazingly enough, Rina and I are both Shepherds.:-) I can see this really clearly in myself - the reliable, always there personality is me, and always has been me. But sometimes I wish that I could be careless, throw my head back and run away from the responsiblities that hold me down without stressing, and overplanning (which I'm also famous for) But that's okay, I suppose I am getting more secure with my dependable role :-)

A friend sent me to the Kingdomality Personal Preference Profile. It's like a career aptitude test, but tells you what job you'd have in the Middle Ages. LOL This is me: Your distinct personality, The Shepherd, is to tend to your human flock. You understand the needs of those for whom you are responsible. Shepherds are vigilant and reliable. You realize your obligation and commitment to the well being of those entrusted to your care. Shepherds are very dependable. You engender a feeling of comfort and stability to those within your charge. On the positive side, Shepherds can be empathic, caring, understanding, practical and realistic. On the negative side, you may be manipulative, close-minded and sentimentally rigid. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms. Not sure about manipulative, but I know for a fact "closed-minded" is NOT me....

I was doing a search for Wesley/Angel fan fiction when I stumbled onto the Greatest 100 novels list. I've read 16 books on the board's choices, and 19 on the reader's choice. I was so excited to see House of Mirth by Edith Wharton and Gone with the Wind on them - those are two of my favorites. HoM was just incredible, IMO - I've never felt so closely tied to or emotionally vested in a fictional character like I was with Lily. I'm not sure if it's because I saw something of myself in her, or just because she was such a beautifully written character. From the very start, I could see all of the little things that she was doing that would obviously lead to her downfall and kept yelling at her, "No! Don't do that!" <.g> I did the same thing with Delores in Wally Lamb's She's Come Undone, but I didn't like Delores very much. I felt separated from her as she spiraled downward, instead of feeling compassionate. Maybe because I felt that she was so consciously doing things that were obviously wrong, but Lily's mistakes weren't so wrong. She wanted a life full of money, but could never make herself settle for anything less than a love-filled marriage or relationship. She went about it in the wrong way, but her heart was in the right place, and maybe that's why I like her so much. Anyway. LOL I also saw Carson McCuller's The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and that was good. I had it assigned for summer reading before my sophomore year, so what I remember clearly is reading it in Germany. I should reread it - I'm not sure anymore if I liked it because it was fascinating or because I was thrilled that it was in English. LOL Books I wish had been on the list: A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Joy in the Morning, The Road Home. The bookworm has spoken, long live the bookworm. LOL

Just as I was happily drifting off to sleep early last night, the phone started ringing, and it was CAA calling to say that they were taking Megan to the hospital because she had twisted her ankle really bad. They couldn't get ahold of my mom at the time, and so we called, left some messages on mom's machine and tried to go back to bed. I laid there for all of 10 minutes, worrying about my sister, when their coach called from the car on the way to the hospital, saying they still couldn't get ahold of mom, but that she'd left the game before it was over. So Eric and me started to get ready to go to the hospital because someone was gonna need to bring the girls home. A few more tries to mom found her there and she went to do it, but I'm so sad for my sister. If she really did break it, that's the end of her volleyball season. And she is one of the captains, and she loves the sport more than anyone I know 'cept maybe Oscar. I feel so terrible for her. The pain of breaking would be bad, too, but for Megan, its the pain that will keep her from playing the rest of the season that will be awful. And I didn't even get to go watch her this year <.sigh.> Mom wouldn't take me, and it was too early to get out there by the time Eric got home. It bothers me that I am feeling sad that *I* didn't get to see her play - I should just be worrying about her. And the really sad thing - I was worried that the call last night was going to be someone saying that my brother was in trouble or hurt or something. He has been so reckless lately. He almost hit our newest employee's car yesterday, and he swerved to pretend to hit Nancy yesterday and smacked the front end of his car into the building in the process. He comes through the alley at about 60 miles an hour, and if someone walked out in front of them, they'd be dead. And what can we do about that? its a parking lot/alley, Nancy doesn't think there are rules on how fast you go down here. Wow, lots of sibling stuff. I'll blog when I hear more about Meggie later.

Wednesday, September 20, 2000

I'm making bread while I watch TV and read blogs <.giggle> What a multitasker I am LOL! Of course, its just soaps on the vcr and the breadmakers doing all the work, but still :-) I'm working on dinner, too :-)

Hey, Laura - I can see it :-) I have one, too - see it? :-) I love your fall-ish design, too! :-) and I'm so glad everyone else is finding Periwinkle Haze. Cheryl's blog is just so pretty and neato :-)

Here's all about my birthstone - diamond, and here's Rina's - emerald. If it was up to me, I'd have picked amethysts because I love the color of them :-) If you'd like to buy us something, I'm sure that jewlery.com or diamond.com could help you out LOL! No, really, Eric has given me quite the collection, and I already feel very jewelried and pampered. He's so sweet :-)

I found this blog on my sidebar of recently updateds :-) I think I might like it :-) I'll have to come back here later to really read :-) CrewsClues' Blog - Get Wise!

whim&vinegar - Jen has a good idea about picking colors. I love looking at wallpaper borders, too..... usually, there are some great color schemes in the borders and can be inspiring! So now, I need to go to Home Depot and look at paint swatches for fun :-) Thanks! BTW, she is also part of a joint blog which has a fun title - one fish, two fish, red fish, shark!

This is an old article, but it has new news for next week's Buffy: Next season on 'Buffy,' vampire slaying is a family affair I rewatched the season finale last night, and Rina noticed that Tara mentioned something about Making sure Buffy was home before Dawn. Hmmm, Read the article, and see what you think about Buffy's sister Dawn :-) BTW, Michelle is the Penny from Inspector Gadget <.g> And Harriet from Harriet the Spy. Looking forward to next week!

good morning :-) I've been up reading and putting the final touches on the angelquotes info for this weeks schedule and trying to cancel some of the email on my AOL accts that I'm going to cut back on using now that I have AT&T @home :-) (I don't have an email address there yet because the NW mail is down) I'm yawning, but been up for about an hour. Stop the yawns!

Tuesday, September 19, 2000

Wow, this is so neato :-) Oregon Live: 9-18-00 Wireless act I found out about this from E since he works at Qsent and gets to hear about this kind of stuff every day. They have *amazing* ideas, and I am really excited for them :-) Read the article :-)

I'm starving! What can I eat? Anybody have any food for me?! What on *earth* will I eat tonight? <.sigh.> Eric'll be home soon, and will ask me what I want <.g>

Yea for Carol, she's getting her own domain! I love having my own. Its just so nice to be able to put whatever I want up and have the abilities that I didn't have on a free server :-) Whatever you need help with in moving, just ask, sweety! :)

Wow, this could be fun!! Where's George You can enter in all of your dollar bills, and it tracks them and where they've been :-) found via [identity]

Oh wow! My new friend ( :-) ) Cheryl at Periwinkle Haze did a redesign and I love the colors! It totally looks like Missouri with a periwinkle haze! The picture on the top matches so well :-)

We've now got a search engine in the sidebar. This will search the whole love-productions site, and if you remember seeing something in my journal or on the pages that you want to find again, this is the place to start :-) I still have a few formatting changes to make to the search, but it is fuctional now.

another thing via danelope, I found Fake Memos by Activegrams Omigod, some of these are hilarious :-)

After reading Katie's post, I decided to run this page through Bobby, and after changing a few graphics to have alt tags and little stuff like that, we are now complient :-) I hope to use this tool more often - I have known about it, but I should run all my graphics sets through the process, just to make me feel better about people using my stuff. :-)

You know what I've decided? Emode is addictive! And when they tell you that this man is your celebrity match, how it could be bad? Harrison Ford You seem to be looking for someone who will celebrate the simple and natural side of you. Who cares if he's married? We think that Harrison Ford is the man for you! Your choices reflect an appreciation for this wholesome and rugged man. We're sure that you would be the perfect match, and we can just imagine your first date. After a long day on horseback, you and this rugged outdoorsman will snuggle by the fire in a country cabin while sipping hot cocoa and staring dreamily into each other's eyes. This distinguished gentleman will seduce you with his manly charm, and maybe - if you're lucky, he will show you the real Han Solo.

I'd like to come back and read this blog again :-) Not enough time right this moment though!! barbie.nu! :-)

I know this feeling - dan says that he needed to know something about his life and went back and looked in his blog to find out the answer. I do that quite frequently - I come back and search for links that I knew I blogged and look to see when I blogged about a certain event :-) I love my blog :-)

I have these two bug bites or something on my side. I hate finding those because then I wonder - where was I that bugs bit me?!!!

Did I ever tell you that silly things inspire me? Like new paint jobs and grass. I'm working on some linkware blog templates that are gonna be so much fun :-) Can I just stay home and play with graphics ALL DAY LONG?! I have so many other things I need to be doing, but this is pulling me in.....................

Zippy, I thought I'd put my reasoning behind my vote - Washington State is SUCH a beautiful place. If you were to drive no more than 3 hours in any direction from my house, you could get to the desert, the mountains and snow, the ocean, the river, the forests, the puget sound, and the valleys. We have so many different climates available at a moments notice :-) It rains in the winter, but everything is so green all summer. The tempetures are moderate, and the spring/fall seasons are particularly glorious :-) And we have some beautiful cities - Portland (of course) is my favorite, but I'm sure that the Seattle area is just as nice :) And here's my fav aspect of the NW, Mt. Hood:
mthood at sunset this isn't my picture, I'm just borrowing it for your pleasure :-)
Pretty, huh?!! :-)

Monday, September 18, 2000

If I had a Palm, this would be such a nifty little utility :-) Palm.Net - Query Apps: iQradio But even though I don't, the webpage version of the program is cool too (iQradio) These things would be totally cool for traveling :-) (and I'm sure E wouldn't mind me telling you all about these things!! :-) )

via Periwinkle Haze, I took the test to find out What's My Superpower?
Your inner superpower is INVISIBILITY! Slumbering someplace beneath your quiet exterior is an unrealized superpower known as invisibility. It's true that invisibility can sometimes be annoying. People tend to ignore you. At restaurants it might take a while for you to be served. But don't take it personally. They don't do it out of spite. It's just that you are, after all, a little difficult to see sometimes. Don't let this get you down. In this hectic world where seemingly everybody wants a piece of your time, invisibility is your ticket to freedom. When you think about it, being invisible has all sorts of bonuses. Take, for instance, the ability to find privacy and solitude under any circumstance. Then there's the special perk of being able to sneak unnoticed through crowded rooms, easily avoiding all of the annoying people that you would rather not talk to. You've probably wished on numerous occasions that you could just disappear. Well, now you can. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, think of transparent things and prepare to be invisible.
Yep, I'm kinda invisible. I work hard in the background, but don't always let the true hugeness of how hard I worked to the foreground people!

So Carol, what kind of tattoo are you looking to get? I know exactly what I'd get.... I would have a small butterfly on my upper left shoulder with black outline, curly anteneas, and purple on the bottom wings and yellow on the top :) Wouldn't that be neato? I don't need one, but it would be fun to have :-)

Today, I've been computer fix-it girl. I wish I was brilliant like Eric, but I'm not! I need to figure out why the computer is locking up at certain places of Quickbooks. It doesn't make sense, its not always repeatable, and I'm not sure exactly how to fix it. Of course, _she_ thinks she's a computer expert and knows how to work around the problem. Durh. I need a more concrete fix than "Use Single User," cuz that's a pain. So I'm going to research! And backup, and reinstall if needed. BUT I did get a server installed for our work network :-) yea!! Eric's so cool!!!!!!!!!! :-)

yes, Mere, I love Life for dinner too <.giggle> And I started that in college - got hooked on Life again :-)

I like the heading on this blog - Oh, Blog This! I'm not boring...I'm selectively interesting. :-) I found Stacey in my referrals - thanks for reading me over here, and I hope to come back to your journal, too :-)

This is a fun quiz for a Sunday morning! What's your Flavor? Mmm ... vanilla! Clean, fresh, and classic, you're the flavor of ice cream on hot summer nights and cookies dipped in hot cocoa. In a word, you're comforting — a steady, faithful person who's a rock in times of trouble and always has a shoulder for friends to cry on. Don't underestimate your importance; everyone needs someone they can count on. Flashy? Not you. Overwhelming? Never. You're reassuring and friendly, the ultimate warm blanket people love to snuggle up with. Simple, soothing, and good with everything from fresh berries to chocolate sauce, you're a truly tasty treat. I could go for this....LOL

Wow, Laura! The painting job looks terrific, and your new desk is way cool, and the ivy on the curtain rod is mucho-pretty! :) Very good job! :-) When I get a house, will you teach me your pretty painting technique?! :-)

Kellea, my thoughts and prayers are going out to you as you devote your time to helping Annalia. {{hugs}}

I am now surfing with the super-fast connection of AT&T's @home cable modem :-) Eric finally got it up and running after I went to bed, and I woke up to find that when I click on something, it comes right up!!! :-) Very happy stuff :-)

Uh-oh. I have a new addiction! My friend Rita has gotten me hooked on Yahoo's new game Literati. It's pretty much like scrabble, and you get to play against real people. I think we've been playing for almost 4 hours now! Rita is RileyFanFic and I'm RinaD81. Challenge us to a game if you see us there!

My fan decided to die at 4:29 this morning. It started making this terrible noise that woke both of us up. E said something about the ball bearings. I didn't really want to be up that early..... and it took me forever to fall back asleep. I hope they can fix it, though, because that's the main way the air circulates in my bedroom!

My cute husband has been reading Glamour the entire time I've been online <.g>

What's Your Flavor?
Mmm ... peppermint! Crisp and refreshing, you're the flavor of candy canes and after-dinner mints — everyone's favorite comfort candies. If you were a season, you'd be winter — bracing and energizing, but cozy, too. Your honesty and forthright personality make people feel like they've known you forever — they can't help but be drawn to your sweet, fresh nature. Perhaps a little old-fashioned, and occasionally shy, you're generally happy and well-liked. Traditional and invigorating, you're a truly tasty treat.
Wow, that's interesting! link courtesy of Anna

This is sad - I've been searching for almost 45 minutes to find out the plot of a kid's show! Does anyone know who Annie is and why Fi is gone and why Jack is having problems with Annie there? Jeez, you miss TWO episodes....

You notice a new thing in the sidebar - After reading Kaycee's story yesterday, I felt inspired to send some sunshine her way. :) And I'm smiling even more now that I've read today's post on her page :-)

Zal at disenchanted[.]org - this is my catharsis has a beautiful new look. As I told her, I'm not usually a big fall-color fan, but this looks really nice :-) And if I didn't mention it already, Gina at Recycled Thoughts also has a fall look. I guess that my colors are multi-seasonal. Basics with some nice accents. But I have some beautiful leaf graphics that I've done that would make awesome blog layouts... hmmmmm... :-)

I don't know if I've done this specific one before, but I love them :-) baby names - Kristine
As Kristine you seek change, travel, new opportunities, and new challenges. Your active, restless nature demands action and you dislike system and monotony. As you are versatile and capable, you could do any job well, although you would not like to do menial tasks. Having considerable vision, you could be adept at formulating new, more effective ways of doing things. You could organize the work of others, though in your impatience to see the job done efficiently, you would likely step right in and do it yourself. You could work well in sales and promotion, and would not be afraid to risk a gamble as the name gives you much self-confidence. You do not find contentment in the routine tasks and responsibilities that are associated with home and family or with administrative detail in the business world, so you have to guard against frustration and even moods of depression over your personal responsibilities. The restlessness this name creates could find an outlet in caustic, irritable expression. Also, the intensity of your nature could result in tension in the solar plexus causing stomach trouble and, because you take your responsibilities seriously you could experience much worry
Wow, that really fits. 'Specially the bolded parts :-) WOW!

I just have to blog about how much I love coming home and watching soaps <.g> This is great - As The World Turns had so many twists and wonderful plots resolved today (okay, I'm 4 days behind ) that I am just loving it!! The only dilemna was watching this or play spyro before Eric got home LOL! I wonder if there are any other bloggers who watch soaps out there :-) I'll have to search!

I think I should go home. I'm playing with graphics, trying to come up with a new design for my page. I don't want to just go part way and only redo the blog, although it would be fun to cycle a few designs through here..... I'll be thinking about it, I suppose. I could do a series of silly fun easy layouts for a week and then modify them for blog templates (linkware :)). That might be fun ;-)

Oh my goodness. I just spent a bunch of time between work projects reading all of the archives of . : living colours : .. Kaycee is fighting so hard, and I wish I could be there to hold her hand throughout this ordeal. She seems like there is so much fight and faith in her and her mom (at her companion blog - . : journey towards the rainbow : .). I am just so touched by her story. I am so touched by her strength to make it through the last 24 hours and still have such faith. She makes me want to cry, but she also gives me a sense of hope. Why hope, you might ask? Because when I see people who are in the midst of so many trials and are still holding onto what they believe in and clinging to their family, I feel like God can get me through things that are greater than anything I can imagine. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kaycee. May your fight be long and your body be stronger during the next challenges. My challenge to you, my readers, is to think some happy thoughts full of sunshine for Kaycee tonight.

I hate being sick. But I do like Nina Gordon and her website. She leaves a message there every day. Somtimes talking, sometimes singing. Her song Tonight and for the rest of my life just totally rocks. I love the words and the music and everything about it. I wanna watch Remember WENN. Bad AMC for cancelling it.

ExitCoupons.com -- Save Big on Travel! - this could be totally cool for overplanners like me :) Scope out the things that will be on the exits of your trip before hand!!! :-) via Zannah

tvpicks.net - Laurel's TV Picks - Windowseat TV - I've found this blog before, but I never bookmarked it. But it looks like such the fun blog to keep track of during the fall tv schedule :-) She's got links to tons of stuff, too :-)

I did it! How To Include the Fresh Blogs List I figured out how to do it and how to use css so I could style it how I wanted :-) Its on the sidebar and updates every 6 minutes if you refresh the screen :-) And it wasn't even too hard :-)

My new insurance provider has a webpage. It lets me search for a provider, which I would do if I knew what plan I was on <.giggle.> Welcome To PacificSource I hope this one is better than my last :-)

Wow! Heather of caffeinated love has a toddler and two twin infant girls! That would be a crazy house, but I bet its full of love :-)

Wow! Heather of caffeinated love has a toddler and two twin infant girls! That would be a crazy house, but I bet its full of love :-)

dontcha hate it when you get to work and realize that you forgot to put in your earrings?! :-)

Wow, this is a cool page :-) It could be a great resource for my tv searchs :-) epguides.com - Main Page. I love TV stuff online. Gives more interactivity to my TV watching <.g>

I definately proved where my stress was coming from yesterday. Its not the work, its _her_ presense that gives me those massive sidepains. I am trying so hard to just do my work and not stress, but its virtually impossible. Let's hope that today is better.... :-} <.shakeysmile>

Oh, what a good deal! Candlemart - 3 x 8 Round Pillar Candles - only 3.50 :-) This place has awesome specials :-) I love candles. My reception glowed with candles. Some of them burned all of the way down by the end and others were still going strong. I can't wait to drag the rest of them and light candles all over the apartment :-)

Its so warm already this morning! Its 5:50 and last news report I heard, it was already 69 degrees! So I'm feeling very hot now!

She looks so cute! It turned out nice!!! I can hear those exact words about having her hair done from my little sister (who's not so little now). Every time she wanted me to do her hair when we were younger, I'd do it how I *thought* she wanted it and she'd say the same thing as Lauren: It feels funny, it looks funny, it looks stpuid, or I did it wrong!! And of course, as the ever-wanting-to-please-sister, I'd try again until she ran away mad, and went to the bathroom and got her hair all wet and pulled it back. LOL! I'm glad I can laugh about it now, because it wasn't much fun then!!

Oooh, look - 2 Rina blogs in one day! This isn't a happy blog, though, it's a whiny-complaining one. <.g> Tonight I was IMing with my mom as we watched West Wing together. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I get this horrible headache. I'm dizzy, lightheaded, sick to my stomach, and can't move my head without all of those getting ten times worse. <.sigh> I'm so sick of this! It happened last night, too, and I swear I haven't had any chocolate! <.g> It came on so fast, and I don't know why. Migraine, cold, or allergies, I don't care; I just want it gone! Maybe I should start a headache journal (or blog <.g>) to keep track and see when these happen... I'm going to go crawl back to bed and be grateful I started watching WW this summer and therefore don't have to wait months and months to have the cliffhanger resolved.

I'm pulling a Krissy. LOL I was investigating all of those mysterious links she has on our side bar (I'm a bad blogger, okay?! LOL) and stumbled on to the Redhead Bloggers (Go readheads!), whereupon I found myself here. I had fun reading through Lady Guenevere's blogs, and definitely plan to go back! So, <.waves> Hi Lady G! Meanwhile, just hanging out, listening to Sleeping Beauty and procrastinating. I don't know WHAT I'm procrastinating, but there must be something, because I've cleaned my room, done my nails, and am reading blogs. This never happens....

Found a blog that links to me!! :: allusions and illusions :: I love finding those :-) It makes me happy to think that people visit me :-) Are you linking to me and I've never mentioned you? I probably haven't seen you in my stats - so drop me a line! I'd love to see your page!!!

My frustration level went way up today. I had done so well the last few days, even with my little boy to help with classes, but it was like an automatic thing to start stressing over things when _she_ was in the office. I don't want to stress!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I just heard an ad for the neverending pasta bowl at Olive Garden!! 7.95 for a bowl of pasta with refills, with all the salad and breadsticks you can eat! They periodically do this deal - I tend to get fetticini alfredo every time I go, and that works in this pasta bowl, and then you eat the salad and eat one bowl of pasta, get a 2nd helping of pasta, and eat a few bites and bring the rest home with a breadstick for lunch the next day :-) Perfect way to get two meals out of it :-)

a really good couple posts on the webring dilemna. I really have tried to make it work, but so far, it took me 4 days of trying to even be allowed to sign into the webring I run (wedblog), and I still can't get into the ones I'm a member of on the wedding page (page). I really didn't mind the old system that webring had. It may have been the same one that they'd had for years, but it worked. This does not. I get yahoo error boxes all of the time trying to log in. <.sigh.> And this is not to mention how this will impact sidebar blog rings - you have to use their boxes, which are way too wide for most sidebars, and most anything else. So I'm debating what to do with my webrings.

and on that happy note, I'll wish you all a good night - sleep well, and I'll see you all tomorrow :-) {{BIGHUGS!}}

Its totally cool to be on the top of the Power Bloggers list today. Especially since I'm one of only a few people on the top who are single user blogs and many of the rest of those above me must have done updates to their template to get so many hits. The bizarro thing is that I worked SUPER hard at work today and still did this <.g> Let's count - Group pages - IIII Pages with only a few posts but still ranking - III Valid high posters - IIII Very awesome :-) Can you tell I'm bored? E is playing Spyro behind me, so I'm blogging and playing :-) BTW, Andre is totally cool :-) Just thought I'd share :-)

I bet she would be surprised that someone else out it bloggerland knows how to pronounce Puyallup and even knows where it is <.giggle.>

I wonder what happened to Zippygirl's blog? Come back!! :-)

Oh, this cracked me up, Kristin!!! Poor embarrassed sexy guy <.g>

oh, its beautiful! I like :-) The flowers being painted (or unpainted!) in the header are really neato :)

you'd think I should have gone home before now. But NOOOOOooooo, I got caught up in this project sorting purchase orders. And besides, Eric's not coming home till late, so I have plenty of time to finish up and walk home before then :-) So I'm blogging between piles!!!

Work Note to self: I've spent the last 2 hours going over purchase orders and their receipt date. We definately need to have a better system for recording when these shipments come in so its not so much of a nightmare when something has to be found!

My father is so terrible. He came up with this list of rules *snort* for the bathroom here at our business. The bad thing is that some of these really do need to be listened too <.g> My secretary that just came back keeps coming out of the bathroom laughing that she has a hard time washing her hands w/o standing in the sink LOL! Just read them. Its the Locatis sense of humor, so if you think its stupid, sorry!
BATHROOM POLICIES

<.giggle.> Zannah blogged this: TV and Movie Theme Archive. I love this kinda stuff :-)

I've added a new feature to the sidebar. I really like viewing new pages in new windows and have set up my blog to follow this taste. But now, if you totally hate that setup, there's a "new window?" option on the side. It will automatically assume that you are like me <.giggle.> but you can unclick the box and have it open in the same window if you like :-) Thank you all for visiting! If you have other ideas of how I can make this blog more reader-friendly, feel free to drop me a line :-)

Oh, you wanted to know what I *really* did this weekend? I got a new game :-)
Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage :-)
I've wanted this for a while, but it just went down in price substatially, so I decided it was time to get it :-) I've been looking for some walkthru's so I can figure out a few things that I've gone around on quite a few times since saturday, and here's the links I've found so far: The Care and Feeding of Young Dragons - Spyro 2 - Secrets and videogames.com Spyro 2 Ripto's Rage! Code. He's such a cute little *purple* dragon, too :-)

This is a new blog I found - I am...a star! - I especially like her domain name - imericaonline.com - since her name is erica <.giggle>

via | c h a t e l a i n e |, I found Organizedhome.com. This is something that I SHOULD find time to read <.g> Or my house is going to never be found again :-)

Kayley's Bedroom turned out beautimus! Good job, Laura!! (Incidently, the flower girl in my wedding's name was Caley, and she looks about that same age as your Kayley - and they are both so cute!)

I have a new word. When something bothers me, I just say BLAAAH! Some people get a BLAH! for the day. I feel BLAH! sometimes. See how this works? My word is spreading like wildfire <.giggle.>

Time for lunch - what do you want? :-)

Loobylu's room to move - I love her weekend in pictures - super cute!!!!!!! :-)

via Recycled Thoughts's new design, I found The Daily Grind - who apparently has already been reading this page :-) Hi Dyane!

Cheryl, best of luck finding a church family. I hope that your meeting with the CMDS gets rescheduled soon :-) Sometimes I miss going to church, but I really having found a church that I feel comfortable in here yet. I think that I am scared of being around new people too much sometimes, and that makes it harder to try out the area churches. We have one church in the area that I'd like to try - its more geared towards the younger congregation, like the high school, college, and a little higher crowd. I might be a little old for that, but my sister really likes the people who lead out. So I'm hoping that I'll find a good time to try that out.

My Cyber-nation quote of the day is:
I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward. ~ Thomas Edison ~ 1847-1931, American Inventor, Entrepreneur, Founder of GE)
This is a good one because I don't want to be discouraged. Even when people are upset and obnoxious to me, I'd rather take steps forward. This is more a reminder to me than anything anyone else wants to hear :->

Monday, September 11, 2000

Guess what I didn't get done this weekend? See below for what I wanted to get done <.g.> and it'll give you a hint LOL!

Saturday, September 09, 2000

My assignment for the day - work on thank you notes and my wedding recap. These things have been in process for so long, and I don't feel like I'm making a dent on them! So, I've GOT to work on them :-) Wish me luck!

Friday, September 08, 2000

Your quote for yesterday is:
"Angels come bearing fundamental gifts. Receive them with open hearts."
:-) I love angelquotes :-)

keeping in mind that I'm slightly annoyed with my job right now, you get to hear another rant :-> People think I'm the Aleve dispensing girl or something - have you seen that commercial where they call the girl in the race Aleve because she always gave it out to people? that's how I feel. One specific employee comes in at LEAST once a week and has me dig around in my purse for my Aleve! Just cuz I happened to take it out at home this week, its not in here, and she was annoyed. Durh! So I told my mom the other day that we needed to get some that was for work, not for me to buy personally, but nothing is here yet because, well, because of lots of reasons that I won't go into <.g> End of another work-rant. Is this turning into my i-hate-work-blog? I'm sorry!

<.singsongyvoice.> It's raining, its pouring, the old man is snoring....... <./singsongyvoice.>

Congratulations on the article about you, Racheli! What a nice review! :-) I love your site, too :-)

The ontime program here at work pisses me off sometimes. All regular employees get a bonus for being on time every day of the pay period. For most, that's not a problem. But there is one person in particular that likes to make my life a living hell when he's late. He came in and just yelled at me .... I don't deserve this abuse every time his truck won't start! We are in the process of instituting some new policies, and one is a card for one excused day of lateness a month. So he comes in here and asks when he has to give me his card if he's late - I told him as far as I know, it has to occur within one hour of his scheduled time of arrival, just like the notification for this lateness must occur. So he swears and yells crap about what if he's late again this pay period?? He ran out and slammed *MY* office door. Oh, real mature! <.sigh.> Gotta love brothers sometimes.....

Thursday, September 07, 2000

Hey Cheryl, I'm sorry to make you feel sad! I am feeling better, and the abrasive cause of my tears last night has been removed to another state for a few days, giving me some time to regroup. And in order for your site to show up in Power Blogger, you have to be marked as a public blogger in your blog settings. That and read what Andre says about how the Power Bloggers work. Since I'm able to search for your site, I'm assuming that its marked as public. Today, Power Bloggers musta had a brain-fart because it wasn't catching my posts all of the time, even though most were definately spaced enough to be caught. I'd say email Andre :-)

Oh, Christie!!! Thanks so much for sharing!! These are beautiful - I love the chevron chain ones!!!!!! Can I borrow some beads and try? :-> I would love to make some for my sisters :-) Maybe I'll have to find some beads and see what I can do :-> You are inspiring!!!!!

I like this blog: crew.log [the stormwerks crew] I'm not usually a huge fan of group blogs because they seem overly cliquish to read sometimes, but this one actually is fun :-) Some of the people posting are totally interesting too :)

How to Love a Geek Girl This is cute :-) I have some similar things - like its fun to lay in bed and talk to Eric about web designs I'm wanting to make :-) And we get to play games together and have our computers in the same room at home, and that's fun :-)

My blogger problem - BLOGGER - Discuss - I thought it was just me, but apparently not. I all of a sudden can't see my blogger icon on this page. Its bizarre, apparently others can see it!

Meet the man behind Sony's PlayStation
And it doesn't stop there. Sony anticipates a day when most of the appliances in your home -- your stereo, your TV, your PC -- will be connected to the Web, and to each other, via PlayStation chips.
Hmm, that's not as illustrious sounding as the one Eric was telling me about - I mean, why pick PlayStation chips when you could have a more computerish sounding brand of chip? <.giggle.> Anyhow, the PlayStation2 system is scheduled to come out next month at a price of $300... I bet it will take a while before that price comes down, but as I understand its got a lot of added features like playing DVDs and regular PS games as well as new PS2 games :-)

very bizarre.... I'm not showing up on Power Bloggers.... look how many posts I have? I wonder why.... I'm marked as public still. I'm showing up in the sidebar when I update on the Blogger main page. I guess I'll have to see what happens after a few more posts.

I've had several thoughts of things I'd like to include in my blog. I'm writing a list for my own reference:
  1. Get back into the habit of blogging Angelquotes. Not only would this be fun, but it would help me keep better track if people are doing their quotes :-)
  2. Blog my sleep schedule and dreams
  3. Blog the weather, temperature, and how it effects my mood
  4. Blog my movie/tv watching schedule. During the real tv season, this normally happens by default because that's what I enjoy :-) But I loved the idea of making lists of movies seen - and what better of a place to do it?!
I'll use little icons like the that I used for angelquotes. I like that idea a lot :-) And maybe it will prove to give more content than just links, althought I feel like I add to the links that I give you. Maybe that's just my opinion. I'm doing this (this time around) more for me than for anyone who happens by. I still like watching to see when I'm a power blogger, and its so much fun to see that people link to me, but the actual content is so much more than that.

Hey, Kylie... I love the little twisters! :-) I also love the idea of a dictarurs... Thesauruses are my friend, but it would be super-cool if I had a thesaurus that defined the words it was thesaurusing <.g> Yes, I'm making up words now :-)

I have several good kid things to share with you - I'm lucky enough to have many blogging friends who are mommys, and that makes for fun pictures and stories!! Look at how adorable Annalia is! And read the cute story about Colin and the Garbage Men :-) So awesome :-)

Zal, you aren't alone. I know how it feels to be so overwhelmed that you can't seem to ever stop stressing. I am not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel in my situation yet either, but I'm sure hoping that we'll see it soon..... BTW, I like it when people have archives. Then if I go back to my blogs and have linked to them, I can find out what I was talking about :-) But that's just my two cents, only add them back if you want :-)

Carol, I hope you find a good coffee house or someplace to write. That's important! Especially with wedding decisions, you need a place for YOU time :-)

A few notes as I walk thru my daily blog list are coming. I'm feeling a little better this morning, but still really confused about what the best thing to do. Its tough.

Wednesday, September 06, 2000

Wow, what a long day. I'm so tired. And very upset. So I don't feel much like blogging. Either that, or I'll pour out my guts to you all, but I'm not sure I want to do that right now. I'm trying to watch my soaps and not cry while I wait for Eric to come home and make me feel better. Thanks for your patience - I have things I want to blog that I saw today, but I'll get back to you all with those :->

Tuesday, September 05, 2000

good morning! Happy Monday, Tuesday!! Its payday at work and the day to finish the employee books we worked all day friday on, so I'll be hopping!! I'm working on the theme for the angelquotes list, and its gonna be a good one! I'll have to share some of the days quotes with you :-) See ya all later!!

Monday, September 04, 2000

overplayed.com discusses Cruel Intentions. Wow, I love that movie :-) I watched it at first because I love SMG on Buffy. But then I watched it again and again because it is SUCH a good movie. All 4 of the major actors (SMG, Ryan Phillipe, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair) are wonderful, and make the parts so believable to me :-) Just thought I'd share :-)

I love recipe sites! Its an ongoing joke among my family that I collect cookbooks but don't use them <.giggle> Hey, I'm a busy girl, but I love looking at the recipes and sometimes I'm inspired. Anyhow, today I was looking at All recipes .com | Recipes. This site is particularly fun because of all of the different subsites that it has - scroll down to the bottom and see the cute icons for the different sites! And then this reminded me that I once designed a recipe site :-) It was very pretty, and is still up at Angel Recipe Page even though its not still in use. I still go to it for the links page because I know that I had such a complete page back when I made it that I'll always be able to find SOMETHING that I need :-)

I like seeing who links to me. Today, I found zenny.org, who says that great minds think alike because we both have bordered blogs with a sidebar of links ;) She also has an awesome listing of all of the movies she's seen in the theater. I wanna do that - that's so neato!

What copycats!!! NBC Presents 'NBC SOAP FANFEST' (11/11-11/12/00). ABC is having its Fifth annual super soap weekend at Walt Disney World this October. Complete with stars just like the NBC copied version!!

I want this The Sims and this Livin' Large Expansion pack. That's 39.95+29.95 right now. I wonder if it will be cheaper anywhere else? Guess I'll have to look :)

Gina, that's pretty :-) But I do like what you have up right now, too :) Did I tell you that I'm trying out PhotoImpact? I'm not sure if it has enough different features from what I know best, Paint Shop Pro. Got any thoughts about either one? drop me a line :)

Sorry if some of you visited since last night and my page didn't work. Somehow, I did something that made my index page go away and I had to republish to make it come back! Oops! Thanks for coming back :)

NEIC: Near Real Time Earthquake List - wow, after reading part of the Survivor Blog, I found some links to earthquake info - its pretty interesting to see when they are happening. I've always been infactuated with watching natural disaster movies. They scare me a whole bunch usually, but I watch them again so that I can be not scared by them I have particular memories of watching this earthquake movie (Big One) that starred Dan Lauria (you know, the dad from Wonder Years!) and Joanna Kerns (you know, the mom from Growing Pains!). It was scary!! Now that its been 10 years, I'm feeling more like I could watch it w/o being freaked out <.giggle>

I spent a bunch of time this morning working on the gilliangels page. We are gearing up for a year long poptab donation to help out the Ronald McDonald House. Its such a good program, that can help out so many people. Normally, I'm not so quick to participate in a project like this, and I focus my efforts on helping people around me instead, but this is an easy thing that I can do (pop the tab off my can and put it in a box!!) and I feel like it really could help make a difference. Maybe I won't, but let me believe that I will and I'll work harder?! Silly thought, huh? But its true, dontcha think? If you'd like to show your support, let me know. Here's a button you can use to link to the project if you like:

Bluetooth Provides Net Access With No Strings Attached - this is an interesting transcript with lots of different types of info.

I just pulled off the rest of my acrylics, very slowly. It didn't hurt, but they don't look very nice undereath because they ground my nails down some before putting the acrylic stuff on top, and so they are kinda weak. It feels so weird to have them off, though - I type differently! It will be nice to not catch the other letters with the edge of my nails, though!

As The World Turns was really good on friday! I've been waiting to see what would happen with Lily and Simon on the Island, and wow, I'm waiting anxiously for tomorrow now! Friday clifhangers are the best sometimes, and today was one of the best - Carly interupted Jack and Julia's wedding and Holden showed up as Lily and Simon decided to *kiss* one last time.... wow!!! Soaps can be fun :-)

These are the kind of things that make me not want to go on roller costers: Crash on world's fastest roller coaster. It has been known to take a lot to get this girl on a roller coaster. My wonderful friend Oscar practically carried me onto The Viper at Six Flags Magic Mountain <.giggle> Despite the hand-wrenching grip I had on him during the whole ride, it really was fun :-> He bought me a keychain which I carried even after it fell apart to show that I am brave enough to ride the biggest (at the time) coaster there :-) And I've been on all of the big ones at Disneyland/Walt Disney world now... :-) So I guess I'm getting over my scardycatness, but I'm still a teeny bit earie when I hear the crashing stories.....

good morning :-) I'm a dork because I woke up at 6:30 on a sunday morning. How come I can't sleep in? I mean, that's about an hour earlier than I get up on a work day, but still! <.sappy smile.> Eric is still sound asleep and I have to resist the urge to go and sit and watch him sleep. He'd know I was in the room and wake up.... but he's so sweet when he sleeps :-) I'm such a morning person and Eric is a night person. He comes and lets me fall asleep in his arms at night around 9 and then gets up and comes and plays on his computer or plays games or watches TV until midnight, and then goes to bed. I wake on on normal mornings at 5:30, and get on my computer, read my mail, watch my soaps from the day before, and then get ready and wake him up at 7. This schedule works out really good for us, but sometimes I wish I wasn't so sleepy and could stay up with him instead and play :-) <./end sappy smile.>

Congrats, Kristin!!! I'm so excited that you got moved in, even though it took a lot of days and work!! I wish I could come over with a nice housewarming present for you! :-) {{{hugs}}}

I'm so happy - Eric got us signed up to get AT&T At Home intstalled in a few weeks. Its the only high speed option in our area, and I'm sick of AOL. So now he's got me searching for some Norton utility thing, and I'm not sure at all what I'm looking for LOL! Wish me luck!

.wenchlog. has a nice design. Very checkeredy :-) The posts are fun to read :-) She also has a LunchLog How fun is that? I should blog what I eat <.giggle> Last night, I had the most delicious baked potato!!!!!!!!!! :-)

My fake nails are starting to come off - I lost the first one yesterday, and several other ones are starting to want to come off.... I had so much fun with them, and I'm super happy that i had them done for my wedding :-) Made me not feel so bad about my bitten nails :) Definately something I would do again :-)

Oh, Zal made a pretty :-) Look at this! I see why she didn't just want to get rid of it because it is really pretty ;-) I also really like the layout that she has up right now - the rollover on the roses is gorgeous :-) Zal, will you teach me php too? Eric is smart and knows all about this kind of stuff, and helped me use it for my countdown on the wedding page, but I want to be smart too <.giggle> Web Spinner is a really nice looking blog :-) And the little kid at the top is so cute :-) I screwed up this post and am trying to fix it - sorry! I'm glad for safe mode sometimes :-)

Thank you for the turtle story, Laura - sounds like lotsa fun! And will you make Eric and me some blueberry pancakes while you are at it? :)

Okay, I want to come back here and download the new version of WindowBlinds at home later - this is cool, and I had it before!

This is a pretty blog - Loobylu's room to move Yesterday, she mentioned "Last day of winter..." wow, that's a weird thought that across the planet it was just winter yesterday! :-)

good morning.... its friday. Not only is it friday, but its going to be a busy friend because my dad's coming home specifically to work on a pile of things in the office. I don't feel organized enough to work on them!! I'm kinda sidetracked with work this week... And yesterdays hellish activities of work really made me not want to be here to fix them today. but its also the friday before the long weekend. Hopefully, I won't have to work at all this long weekend. Its way too easy for my dad to call me and ask me to come in, and I really don't want that to happen. I want to relax with Eric. I want to work on some stuff (THANK YOU NOTES!) and enjoy some fun designing time :-) I can't wait!
