I designed this weekend. Well, okay, so one of the designs was a brainstorm from back in like march, but I cut it up and made it into a graphics set. It is SO rewarding to have time to put these things together :-) As I was telling Eric, you'd think I'd run out of ideas, but every time I sit down in front of his computer, something floats out of my head and I have to try to make it!! I read a book at barnes and noble yesterday - I haven't had a chance to check out much of the corresponding webpage yet, but its at lynda.com. The book was great. But it was pretty photoshop based. I can't afford to shell out the cash for that program yet. But the book was
really interesting, and gave me some more good ideas :) Anyhow, I'll put these design up today sometime. Must zip them and put final touches on spring dots before uploading :) BTW, I have blogger templates. Should I put them in the sidebar? Most of them are parts of other graphic sets, but I could very easily seperate the blogger template part out of a set and offer it to my blogging buddys :-) Got an opinion? email me.

Ack, FINALLY I get to blog. *giggle* It's been way busy by me lately. But hey, I got my English paper done and handed in, which is a relief! I had fun with it. It's a comparison of Dana Scully from the X-Files and Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter.
As you can see from my desires list, I got the Return to Me CD!!!! My daddy bought it for me for Easter. : ) All the songs are great, but my favorite, as Krissy knows, is called "What if I Loved You" by Joey Gian. Here are the lyrics, because they're so sweet!!
Oh, what if I loved you, and I gave it my all?
What if I told you, you're all I've waited for?
What if I held you tonight, and I made you feel oh so right?
What if I loved you, would you always be mine?
What if I kissed you, the way you like to be kissed?
What if I held you in my arms, so close like this?
What if I touched you tonight, and I filled your body with delight?
What if I loved you, would you always be mine?
Oh, what if I sang you a sweet lullaby?
What if I gave you a dozen stars that I pulled from the sky?
What if I told you tonight, I want to love you for the rest of your life?
What if I loved you, would you always be mine?
What if I loved you, would you always be mine?
The whole CD is so romantic, just like the movie! Amazon.com has clips on it's site, so you can listen. : )
Erich, well then what am I waiting for?!!!! He says, for those of you too lazy to click the link (lol!) that instead of normal harems where the women are at his beck and call, *he* is at his harem girls beck and call! What the deal that is!! :-)
what more could a hopeless romantic girl want than to have a man waiting on her?! LOL!
Erich over at Touched By an Impudite has a little harem. What fun that would be, lounging around to be at someones beck and call all day?! {giggle} Maybe I should join up?! ;->
I can't seem to stop rearranging the sidebar - the more I surf, the more blogs I find that I love!! So Thoughtful Thoughts by Kandee has been added - I love how she spells her name :-) And I have *always* enjoyed visiting Racheli's bits of magic and so I'm sure I'll love her girl.dot.comp blog :-) And while I was surfing, I noticed that webdreaming has a new look - its really nice, Noelle!
We've also added a link to ALF: Adult Literary Fundraiser. The Gillian Angels, a group of women who support Gillian Anderson (Scully, The X-Files) are sponsering a fundraiser to help with adult literacy. Go and visit the site and see if you would be interested in making a difference in the lives of others :-)

I have gotten several link backs and feel special :-) Becca at SK 2000 >>> a log; blog is really sweet, and put me in her sidebar. Julia at randomness also posted a nice note saying she'll be adding us to her links list. Its really neato to have people link to us LOL!
I also found another blog that I want to add to my sidebar - sweet & sour Its gonna be lots of fun to read this one!! I love Anna's site - its beautiful :-)
Last night, I talked to my sister. We have realized that we are different from everyone else. It seems sometimes that everyone around us lives in one world, and our senses of reality are different from that world. Between that conversation and it being my birthday today, I've been doing a lot of self evaluation. When I was little, I knew that 24 was the magic birthday. By 24, I thought I should be having babies. 24 might be a magic year for me yet, though, since I am planning my wedding for this summer :-) I am really happy, but when I over analyze, I get confused about where I am going and where I should have been. Teaches me to think!
We love baby names. The list fo my favs are actually attached to my monitor right now {g} Rina and me have several names that we like, so it'll be funny to see what happens when we have kids and they are all named the same LOL! Here's what our names say about us - baby names - Kristine and baby names - Rina

Its so fun to be helpful :-) [[ name coming soon ]] (fri, apr 21 post) Not that I like netscape, mind you. I hate how some of my pages turn out in it. But I'm starting to learn to deal. I *wish* that it handled style sheets the same way, in the very least {g} But, if you ever find a page of mine that isn't seeming to work in Netscape - let me know, I probably just haven't checked it yet :->
AQ, April 19th - Your Angelquote for yesterday is: "Take the hand of an angel and follow your heart."
Very nice one - its always a nice thought to think about following your heart {giggle}Thursday, April 20, 2000
What a cool addition to our blog - imood.com!. It will display our moods on the sidebar :-) Try it out for yourself if you have one!

Cecily is right. This game is totally addictive! Try and get all of the blocks off the screen by clicking on the blocks that have the same color next to them :)
We are trying to add some perspective for all of you out there about the Hopeless Romantic girls - so we are adding some things on the side bar about each of us :-) Watch it often as we share more :-)
hint: maybe if I put Rina's to do list there, she'd read it more {vbg}
AQ, April 18th - your quote of the day is: "Fools rush in where Angels fear to tread." Alexander Pope
I really like this one :-) Particularly because it reminds me of the movie Fools Rush In with Salma Hayak and Matthew Perry. I love that movie - its a sweet wonderful movie, and in the very first scene of the movie, where they show it as MEXICO, its really the Columbia River Gorge and almost shows my old house. I swear!! Eric doesn't believe me. I don't understand why not {giggle}
Another note, the AQ for today has this weeks theme - web portals :-) Enjoy the list!!Monday, April 17, 2000
I'm doing several AQs from the weekend at once :-)
angelquotes Message 317 - "Angels often shed new light on old dilemnas." This is a nice quote - and a great thing to think about for when you have problems :-)
angelquotes Message 318 - "The delight of the angels is to communicate their wisdom to us.' :-) And a goofy personality test is up on the 318 page, too :-)

Permanent Links - I was mentioned on at Webloggers Anonymous because I helped out by sharing how to do permanent links :-) Now here's a link for everyone :-) Its really a good thing to do, but it took me asking Jish to find this link LOL!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the roswell theme song? The show itself is really cool, but the theme song gives me a warm glow like sarah-music does *g*
i didn't hear you leave, i wonder how am i still here / i don't want to move a thing, it might change my memory / oh i am what i am, i'll do what i want, but i can't hide / i won't go, i won't sleep, i can't breathe, until you're resting here with me / i won't leave, i cam't hide, i cannot be, until you're resting here with me / i don't want to call my friends, they might wake me from this dream / and i can't leave this bed, risk forgetting all that's been / oh i am what i am, i'll do what i want, but i can't hide / i won't go, i won't sleep, i can't breathe, until you're resting here with me / i won't leave, i can't hide, i cannot be, until you're resting here with mefrom: The Roswell Theme Song I'm downloading the MP3 now, and if it turns out okay, I'll put the link in here later :-)
My little brother sent me this today, and I had to share: Bunny Hop. *giggle* He's such a cutie pie.
I'm in a MUCH happier mood than I was last night, 'cause I finally got all of my lines memorized for this big scene I have to perform tomorrow morning. I play Lady Bracknell in this scene of The Importance of Being Earnest. Love the role, hate how wordy she is. : )
I think I need to go play the Sims again - when I left it, our dear Krissy was heading for romantic bliss with MY Mulder. *giggle*

This is the introduction to the sidebar wishlists of Kristine and Rina :) (also, the aforementioned David picture :) Rina's wishlist: David Check the sidebar out, we'll be changing it to suit our moods as they change - which they do quite often LOL!

Whoops! LOL I forgot we can't use brackets here. *g* After my comment about Tea's dress, mentally add in a *g* or *giggle.* After my comment that my story isn't based on David's ep, realize that in the space, you should be seeing a *smiles innocently.* LOL
Meanwhile, Krissy should have that David picture up VERY soon! She made it for me as a reward for getting my Special Ed final done last December, and it's my desktop wallpaper now. *g*
Well, back to listening to the Oldies station and wishing I had someone to go see Return to Me with! For those who don't know, RTM is THE movie that all true Hopeless Romantics must see! You will cry from sadness, you will cry from laughing too hard, and you will walk away knowing that true love really is forever. : )
Awwwww, such sweet lines! I swear they stole that last one from Titanic, though....
I've been so way out of it lately! But I took this fun little quiz today: Can you out-Fox Mulder?. It's a quiz on David Duchonvy - my results were, "Are you Tea?" LOL There are some pictures from their wedding - the bride was in pink. It was actually a nice dress.
Oooh! I also found this site: Baseball Chronology. I'm having so much fun here! I adore baseball. I'm writing a fan fic story for another of my favorite shows, Remember WENN, which is set in 1941, and it's been very helpful. (Scott and Maple are playing baseball on the night of the very first Pittsburgh night game - and it's not based on the last scene of David's episode from last season at ALL, really. )
Well, back to playing The Sims and working on homework.
A wonderful romantic line from As The World Turns (I think this is thursday's ep, but I could be wrong I'm always behind a few days!)
Christopher to Abigail:
C: Remember when I told you that I had that dream, and that when you got into the taxi cab it came true? A: Yea, I remember, and it did, at least I thought it did. C: It did, and that's why I had to keep what happened with Molly and me in a weird sealed off portion of my mind, and I'd go for days and I would not even remember that it happened. It was because I wanted to protect you - I wanted to protect you from the truth - I wanted to protect what we had. I would have done *anything* to keep our dream alive, Abigail - that's why I followed you to New York. You wanted me to cut it off and let you go, and I couldn't, but the thing is - now I think I can. That's the least I can do right? - you still want that? to say goodbye and mean it? A: I thought that when this happened, I'd feel free C: What are you feeling? A: There's a weight in my chest - I'll never love anyone the way that I loved you, Christopher.Awwww - I'm just mush now. That's definately a hopeless romantic sentiment :-)
waste vital minutes with the PERPETUAL BUBBLEWRAP Do you like bubblewrap? I love popping the bubbles - its just a nice stress reliever Enjoy found via: bad ju ju :-)
You'll see a little halo on all angelquote posts :-)
Your angelquote from yesterday was by Rina: eGroups : angelquotes Messages :April 13
"We cannot part with our friends, we cannot let our angels go." Ralph Waldo Emerson. There's another personality test up at that link:->
High-tech jobs boring, girls figure <--okay, this is sad... I wish that every woman who loved computers was able to share their enjoyment with at least one other woman. I could see that changing views and making girls think further about a possible career in computers :-> Okay, so I'm just a geek, I know
this was found from another blog: /usr/bin/girl : (a girl, a browser, and way too much spare time) : blurbs from the web (I really like this place, Zannah's cool!)
Thursday, April 13, 2000
SK 2000 I really like the saying that Becca has up today - "When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel." What a nice angelquote and sentiment... think of all the angels watching down from above on this cloudy washington state day :-)
more to come later :->

Just joined a webring for my blog page - weblog shmeblog - Jish is sweet - and says.... | Thanks for joining.......ahhh, hopelessromantics - excellent title. Siiiiigh. | What a nice complement, thanks! Half the credit goes to my HRtwin, Rina - we decided years ago that that was the title that suited us best, right hon?!
Also joining Listsluts because that's also another title that fits me {giggle} Yes, yes, its true, I have more links than I do things that are DONE on my list of things to do LOLOL!
Okay, so I'm finally reading some mail {shh, I'm supposed to be working!} and found this link - Rina, yes, these pics here are really nice... I have to admit, Rina's not-so-secret-crush is really cute! Enjoy, all! Entertainment Weekly -- David Duchovny Dossier -- 04-14-99 (check out the pics!)
Every time I take the test from todays angelquotes, I get the same results: ISTJ Profile. I'm definately an ISTJ, even though it kinda doesn't show my artistic side through very well. Look, I'm like Eeyore!! I must show Eric LOL! If you do take the test, this is a better site for defining what it means :-)
Your angelquote of the day is: "Making life as meaningful as possible is a lesson from angels." Okay, so the quote was for yesterday, but it didn't appear up at egroups untiil now :> Check out this weeks theme and more - I'm gonna try and archive our quotes here at the HRblog so that everyone can go see them - eGroups : angelquotes Messages :April 11
